The food world loves coming up with wild ideas and this one certainly takes the cake!  How about chicken wings dipped in actual gold?  Believe it or not, a New York City Eatery has come up with the most decadent and most expensive chicken wings you will probably ever eat.

You'll find these honey buffalo wings dipped in 24 karat edible gold at The Ainsworth.  Just how expensive is this finger food?  You can spend as much as $1000 for the 50 wing package or as low as (low?) $45 for the 10 pack.

I don't know about you but I'm too cheap to "go for the gold" when it comes to my chicken wings and besides that, these wings just look gross!  Is that just me?
