You can't always be born with a super cool name like Taylor Dayne.  Sometimes you need to make some alterations.  Born Leslie Wundermann, March 7, 1963, Taylor Dayne hails from Long Island, New York.  From 1987 to 1989, Taylor scored five top ten hits including "Tell It To My Heart", "Prove Your Love", "I'll Always Love You"," Don't Rush Me" (my favorite), and "With Every Beat Of My Heart".

The pop and R&B singer produced four more top twenty hits in the early 1990's.   Taylor still performs live and has new music on itunes.
