Totally Tracie

I had a touching surprise when I got home yesterday.  My daughter was working on a number of signs to bring to Relay For Life of Chenango County with us.  We are walking on my sister's team and even though my kids are young, they understand that they are part of something big.

Man oh man.  Of all of the holidays to miss, I miss the one of the tastiest.  National French fry Day was this past Saturday, July 13th.  Not sure what I would have done to celebrate rather than hitting the drive through, but still....

I love ice cream. I love it, I love it, I love it!  July is the month we can all officially scream for ice cream as it is National Ice Cream Month.  The 40th President of the United States, Ronald Reagan (1911-2004), declared this celebration of this creamy cold concoction in  1984.  He even named the third Sunday of month as National Ice Cream Day.

Last week a friend of mine had posted some pictures on Facebook.  They caught my eye and I became quite curious.  They looked like fun, carnival like boards with holes in them.  But what were they? I was informed that they were for corn hole...

The sun was actually out yesterday!  My kids and I took advantage of the sun and went to the Mt. Vision Garden Center to load up on flowers for the Otsego County Fair in Morris, New York.

So it is no surprise to any of the listeners that Eric Malanoski is a die hard Seattle Seahawks fan.  Also no surprise to the listeners, is his habit of having a daily comment about my shirts.  Last week I figured I would have a little fun and posted a picture on Facebook.

The three day line up for Taste Of Country Music Festival is incredible.  Everyday is loaded with super talent.  While I'm looking forward to the whole event, my "don't miss moment" will be Friday night when Trace Adkins takes the stage.

I hope everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend.  I sure did.  It started on Friday evening when I attended wedding rehearsal for my dear friends, Jesse and Kindra Knapp.  Then on Saturday was the big wedding.  Beautiful!  So honored to be a part of this day in the bridal party and singing at the reception...

This morning Eric and I were reading a message on Facebook.  Our faces must have looked troubled as we could not decide what the acronym meant.  After struggling with it, we turned to Dan The Man for the answer.  If a picture can say a thousand words, then Dan's face could have spoken volumes.

Ever have one of those days when you just want to say, "Calgon, take me away!"  A long bath might not fit your busy schedule but maybe a cup of tea could be the answer.
