Totally Tracie: Let’s Help Cure Cancer [Photos]

I had a touching surprise when I got home yesterday.  My daughter was working on a number of signs to bring to Relay For Life of Chenango County with us.  We are walking on my sister's team and even though my kids are young, they understand that they are part of something big.

Spread across the kitchen floor were little posters waiting to be decorated.  When I started reading them, I became very emotional.  She might not know the in depth details of cancer but she knows it took her Grandbob, away and that it makes people very sick.  She wants to help and I think her words are inspiring.

"Open Your Heart" and "Lets Find A Cure For Cancer".  I could not have said it better myself.  You can help by supporting a team at Relay or donating to the American Cancer Society.

Tonight, Friday, July 19, 2013 is the start of the 17th Annual Chenango County Relay For Life. The event runs through Saturday, July 20, 2013 at the Chenango County Fairgrounds in Norwich, New York. The Survivor Dinner will be at 5pm, Opening Ceremonies at 6:30pm, and the Luminary Ceremony at 9:30pm.
