
Police Warn: Fireworks Still Illegal in Oneonta
With the cancellation of the Hometown Oneonta July 4th celebration in Neahwa Park due to the COVID19 outbreak, Oneonta Police Chief Douglas Brenner and Fire Chief Patrick Pidgeon remind everyone in a press release that discharging fireworks without the proper licensing, training, and safety precautions could lead to injury, death, and property destruction, and even criminal and civil penalties.
