First Night Oneonta has become a New Year’s Eve tradition for so many. This alcohol free celebration focuses on the arts and provides varied entertainment for all ages. Performances by dancers and musicians, children’s activities, and poetry readings.  Parade at 5pm and fireworks at 10:15pm.

Volunteers are needed for the puppets in the parade.  If you volunteer, you get a free button to all of the events.  Parade participants are need as well.  Buttons are on sale now at most downtown merchants. Just look for the First Night sign. $15 each and children twelve and under are free. The schedule of events will be posted soon.
