Cooperstown Hall of Fame Prepares for July 4 Festivities
The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum will celebrate America’s 236th birthday with family-oriented programs and baseball-themed music on July 4 in Cooperstown.
Visitors can explore the centuries-old connection of the United States and the national pastime through patriotic craft activities, demonstrations for the whole family and the music of Dan Bern, who will perform baseball-themed songs from his new album Doubleheader along with the band Common Rotation from 1:00-2:30 p.m. in the Museum’s Grandstand Theater.
Bern’s performance is supported in part by Hungry for Music, a Washington, D.C.-area program that donates musical instruments for under-served children. All programs, including the musical performance, are included with admission to the Museum – though a ticket for Dan Bern’s performance must be reserved in advance.
Tickets can be reserved immediately calling the Museum’s Membership Department at 607-547-0397.
