All are invited to the City of Oneonta’s annual Arbor Day tree planting ceremony to be held this Friday at the Swart-Wilcox Historical Park on Wilcox Avenue. The event begins at 9:30 am and honors the City’s 33 years as a Tree City USA community. Students from the Riverside Elementary School will perform a song in honor of Arbor Day and then help City officials plant two apple trees. NYSEG is providing a limited number of Douglas Fir seedlings to attendees.
