Monday Night Football Recap – Aaron Rodgers Injured in Packers’ Loss to Bears, 27-20
Josh McCown threw for 272 yards and two touchdowns, and the Chicago Bears beat the Packers, 27-20, in Green Bay on Monday night. Packers' quarterback Aaron Rodgers suffered a left shoulder injury at the end of his team's first offensive series, and the Bears (5-3) held second-string QB Seneca Wallace without a TD pass for Green Bay (5-3).
Trailing 17-10 at halftime, Green Bay tied the game on Eddie Lacy's 1-yard touchdown run early in the third quarter. The Pack later surged ahead on Mason Crosby's 23-yard field goal, before McCown, who was starting in place of the injured Jay Cutler, gave Chicago the lead for good with a 6-yard scoring pass to Alshon Jeffery with 2:41 to play in the third.
Matt Forte carried 24 times for 125 yards and a score for the Bears, while his teammate Brandon Marshall caught seven passes for 107 yards and a touchdown.
Lacy had 22 carries for 150 yards and a touchdown for the Packers.
