Girls Rock our Friday Flashback [Videos]

Two major women in eighties music share something in common.  Their birthdays!  Debbie Gibson is 42 today and Gina Shock, drummer with the Go-Go's, is 55.  Gibson became an instant eighties pop star with the release of her debut single "Only In My Dreams" in 1987 with many hits to follow.  "Shake You Love", Out Of The Blue", "Foolish Beat", "Lost In Your Eyes" are some  of her biggest hits. 

Gina Shock is best known as drummer of the all girl punk/pop band the Go-Go's but she has worked with many other artists.  She has co written songs with Alanis Morissette, Wilson Phillips, and Debbie Peterson of the The Bangles.   More recently she has co written for Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez.
