Friday Flashback Scott Baio The Chachi Years [Videos]

We have been watching a lot of reruns of Happy Days lately at my house.  It is kind of cool going back and watching them again because I'm relearning a lot of Happy Days factoids.  Like, did you know Joanie and Chachi broke up for a short time in the summer of '62.   Yes, I am a Happy Days geek.    I grew up watching and loving the show.  I will admit it is a little awkward explaining to my kids why Fonzie has so many girlfriends.

Getting to Chachi Arcola, I mean Scott Baio.  This actor played Fonzie's cousin on the hit show and as the character grew older, he became the love interest of Joanie Cunningham, played by, Erin Moran.  Wah, Wah, Wah!  Joanie and Chachi had a band and eventually a spin off show called, "Joanie Loves Chachi" in 1982 where the two move to Chicago to pursue their musical career.  It was because of the Chachi character that pop music gave us, "Scott Baio" the album.

Scott Baio fans rushed out to get this record.  My sister was one of them.  I'm not sure if it is the record that I really remember or how crazy my sister was about him.   After watching the video below I think it was the crush:
