Feel Good Friday Video: Broadway’s Moving Tribute to Robin Williams (VIDEO)

Many people think one of Robin Williams' greatest and most unforgettable performances was his voice work in the Disney film Aladdin.  Much of his performance was adlibbed.  I  thought he was hilarious in the film.

One of the highlights of the movie is when Robin (as the genie) sings "Friend Like Me."  As we all know, Aladdin is now a big Broadway musical.  It sells out every performance and when the actor who plays the genie (James Monroe Iglehart) sings "Friend Like Me" it always brings down the house.

Look at this tribute from a performance on Broadway last week.  How I would have loved to be in the audience for this!
