Many people think one of Robin Williams' greatest and most unforgettable performances was his voice work in the Disney film Aladdin.  Much of his performance was adlibbed.  I  thought he was hilarious in the film. One of the highlights of the movie is when Robin (as the genie) sings "Friend Like Me...

On this day, March 6 in 1993, a song from Walt Disney Pictures,  Aladdin, climbed to number one.  Peabo Bryson and Regina Belle belted out the romantic duet, "Whole New World (Aladdin's Theme)".
