Delaware County Sheriffs Use Taser in Making Arrest

Delaware County Sheriff’s Deputies recently arrested 41 year old John Burrows of Walton for 2^nd degree Obstruction of Governmental Administration and Resisting Arrest. The charges are a result of an incident where Burrows allegedly refused to comply with Deputies orders to stop interfering with the duties of the Walton Dog Control Officer. Further, after being advised he was under arrest, Burrows had to be subdued with a Taser to affect the arrest. Burrows was processed and released on an appearance ticket to return to Walton Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
