Totally Tracie: Painted Stairs To Inspire [Photos]

These aren't the stairs in my house, but they could be.  With the traffic of two adults, two kids, two dogs, and two cats, the stairs in my house need an annual painting.  As that time approaches again, I thinking of doing something creative and out the norm.    I have been doing a little searching and have found some fun ideas.  Not sure if I have the patience to create some of them but I wanted to share the ones that caught my eye:

The above is my favorite.  So simple looking however, I'd have to strip the paint off of my stairs and blah, blah, blah... much more work than I'm looking to do.  Now this next one is just plain fun but I have a feeling it might be a little 'too much' for my husband to handle on a daily basis.

This next one is clever.  I don't particularly care for the painting but I think the design idea is cool.

This next one might add the right amount of whimsy.

I have not made my final choice but I have a feeling these pictures will go in my wish book for a while and I'll end up using last year's left over paint.  It is fun to imagine.
