Totally Tracie: Science Proves That Women Talk A Lot More Than Men

Have you ever heard that women talk too much?  Maybe not too much but rather more than men.  A new study conducted by the Scientists at the University of Maryland School of Medicine reveals that women talk about three times more than men.Reason being that women have a higher levels of the language protein, FOXP2, in their brains, so we are chatty by nature.

The average woman uses up to 20,000 words each day.  That is 13,000 more words than the average man uses daily.  The study also shows that women tend to speak more quickly and devote more brain power to speaking than men.

Maybe my husband hasn't been totally wrong.  There, I said it, he may be right.  Maybe I do over analyze things or over explain things.  Well, it is not my fault.  I have a 20,000-word quota to fill...and that's only if I'm feeling average.  So when Lucy, had " a lot of explaining to do", she really didn't have a problem.
