The Bangles ‘Walk Like An Egyptian’ Today In Music History [Video]

The Bangles created a dance sensation in 1986 when they had us all "Walk Like An Egyptian".  December 20 of that year, the all girl, pop-rock group started a four week run at number one on the U.S. singles chart with this single.  

This was their third single after ‘Manic Monday’ and ‘If She Knew What She Wants’ but their first number one. The ladies would not score another number hit until 1989 with ‘Eternal Flame’.
