Born Orville Richard Burrell, in Kingston, Jamaica, Shaggy is our spotlight artist today in music history.  On this day, February 11, in 2001, Shaggy had the number album in the country with, "Hotshot".

The album includes hit such as, "I Wasn't Me", "Angel", "Luv Me, Luv Me", and "Dance and Shout".  The album remained at number one for four weeks.





Shaggy started a four-week run at No.1 on the US album chart with 'Hotspot.'
