Every single cell in our bodies need water to function properly, that is why it is so important to stay hydrated.  With the hustle and bustle of preparing for the holidays, some of us might not be getting enough water in our day.  The ironic part is, that stopping to have a glass of water can actually help reduce that holiday stress.  SUNY Oneonta Dietetic students offer up some great tips for staying hydrated this holiday season:

A great tip for giving your water an extra kick, is adding a slice of lemon or lime.  Not only does it add flavor but additional nutrients, too.  Next time you go to grab sugary drink, remember the benefits of water and make the swap.
