Simply Red Today In Music History [Video]

Red haired, pop-soul singer, Mick Hucknall, known as Simply Red, scored his first number one single on the U.S. charts on this day, July 12, 1986.  "Holding Back The Years" was a single that Hucknall starting writing when he was seventeen.  It was several years later that he completed the chorus and recorded the song.
