Mariah Carey Today In Music History [Videos]

On this day, April 12, 2005, Mariah Carey, released "The Emancipation of Mimi".  The album entered the U.S. chart at number one.  Within less than a year's time, the album went six times platinum.  She had the most successful album of 2005.  "We Belong Together", "Shake It Off", and "Don't Forget About Us"  were all major hits off of this album.
