‘Groovy Kind Of Love’ Today in Music History [Video]

Today in music history, we go back to 1988 when Phil Collins climbed to number one on the U.S. singles chart with 'Groovy Kind Of Love'.  The hit would stay there for two weeks. It was Collins sixth U.S. number one single.

Collins is not only a talented singer and songwriter, he is also plays multiple instruments.  A very successful solo artist, he first came to music fame as Genesis's drummer in 1970.  He became the band's lead singer in 1975.  Here is 'Groovy Kind Of Love':
