When you think of Ashley Judd, do you think talented actress, family of The Judds, Naomi and Wynonna, humanitarian, or politician?  Judd has been a political activists for years and has her master's in public administration from Harvard Kennedy School of Government.  The forty-four year old actress is reportedly preparing herself to challenge Senate Minority Leader, Mitch McConnell for his Kentucky seat in 2014.

Does she have a chance?  We have seen plenty of actors turned politician.  Ronald Regan, Clint Eastwood, and Arnold Schwarzenegger to name just a few.   Washington D.C. based attorney and political adviser, Margaret Cone told foxnews that, "Ashley would add enormously to issues confronting Americans, especially women. She grew up in a home headed by a single mother and through hard work and sacrifice, she pulled herself up, graduated from college and went on to have a successful career.  As a favorite daughter from the state of Kentucky and with her ability to fund raise, she could give Senator McConnell a real run for the seat.”

Some argue her past movies roles and on screen nudity could damage her chances.  Judd has already started to build a following and is reportedly meeting with well financed democratic donors.
