The cleanup continues in Oneonta from last night's heavy rains.

Water made its way into the basement of Oneonta City Hall as crews worked through the night pumping water out. Damage caused by the water is currently being assessed.

Last nights rain led to a culvert being backed up and that caused the S-curve road leading into the high school to be closed. The S-curve road has since been re-opened. Oneonta City School District Superintendent Joseph Yelich says despite the excess water a walk-through of the Oneonta City High School building this morning revealed no damage.
