Relay for Life

The picture above is why I participate in Relay For Life.  Tonight I'll be joining my sister's team at the Chenango County Fair Grounds in Norwich, New York.  To celebrate, honor, and remember those affected by cancer.

Otsego County Relay For Life will be May 16 and 17, 2014 at Cooperstown Dreams Park, Route 28 South in Hartwick Seminary.  The event is held to take action and fight against cancer.  Proceeds go the American Cancer Society.  The Jr Kings team is having a spaghetti dinner and auction to raise funds on March 29, 2014.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the weekend's events at Relay For Life of Chenango County.  The Chenango County Fairgrounds filled with a common spirit as teams walked to raise money for cancer research.  I was honored to be a part the event.

I had a touching surprise when I got home yesterday.  My daughter was working on a number of signs to bring to Relay For Life of Chenango County with us.  We are walking on my sister's team and even though my kids are young, they understand that they are part of something big.

This Friday, July 19, 2013 is the start of the 17th Annual Chenango County Relay For Life.  The event runs through Saturday, July 20, 2013 at the Chenango County Fairgrounds in Norwich, New York.  I am pleased to be a part of the festivities as teams walk to celebrate the lives of loved ones who have battled cancer, remember those who were taken too soon and raise money to find a cure for cancer.

Come and party this Saturday from 1pm-4pm at the Holiday Inn in Oneonta and raise money for the American Cancer Society.  Twenty-five vendors will be on hand with great merchandise, there will be a silent auction and concessions, too.  Be sure to dress in comfortable clothes because five amazing Zumba instructors, including Body By Stacy, will be on hand for a super charged Zumbathon...

The Chenango Relay for Life committee will hold a team captain’s meeting at 5:30 p.m. Today in the community room of SUNY Morrisville Norwich campus.
