The King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley has been immortalized on many items from commemorative plates, velvet art, to Halloween costumes.  But one of the more note worthy, is the U.S. Postage Stamp.  On this date, June 4th in 1992, the United States Postal Service announced that Americans chose the younger, slimmer portrait of the King to be used as a commemorative postal stamp.  The twenty-nine cents stamp is selling for around ninety-nine cents from various collectors.
