“The Chipmunk Song” a Number One Billboard Song [Video]

December 19, 1958 was a good year for Alvin and the Chipmunks.  They scored a number one Billboard hit with 'The Christmas Song'.  This was the second number one single for Chipmunks' creator David Seville.  Seville, whose real name is Ross Bagdasarian, hit number one earlier that same year in April with "Witch Doctor'.
