Thursday, August 7, 2014 is Senior Citizens Day at the Chenango County Fair in Norwich, New York.  Tonight's Granstand feature is NYTPA Super Stocks & Modified Tractor Pull.

Today is opening day of the 167th Annual Chenango County Fair in Norwich, New York.

Tuesday, July 29-August 3, 2014 is the Otsego County Fair in Morris, New York.  WSRK will broadcast live from 11am to 1pm.

Fair season is here! The first local fair of the season is the Otsego County Fair and it starts next Tuesday, July 29th and runs through August 3rd.

Today is kids day at the Otsego County Fair in Morris, N.Y.  One hundred bikes will be given away to youth attendants at 3pm in front of the Grandstand.  Head down prior, to get registered.  Also enjoy pay-one-price rides with Gillette Shows Midway from noon -5pm and 6pm-10pm.

New York State Association of Agriculture Fairs (NYSAAF) met over this past weekend to gear up for the 2013 fair season.  It was the group's 125th meeting.  Board members of the State's County fairs shared ideas, booked entertainment, attended workshops, and participated in a number of events to prepare for the upcoming season.  I was honored to be a part of the festivities this year with the Otse

The best six days of summer are right now!  The Otsego County Fair in Morris, N.Y. is running through Sunday August fifth.  Pictured above are  Hannah of Cooperstown with her Holland Lop, Jasmine Bonadies of Oneonta with her Californian New Zealand mix, and Karley of Oxford with her Holland Lop.  They all competed in the 4-H Rabbit show and Showmanship on Tuesday.

The Otsego County Fair starts Tuesday July 31rst but fair exhibitors started  moving in yesterday to Morris N.Y.  While visiting the sheep barn yesterday, I met a great family who have a unique story.  They have come to the Otsego County fair as spectators for 15 years but this will be their first year exhibiting.  C...
