A new album by late rapper XXXTentacion emerged last week, just one day after Pitchfork unearthed an audio clip of the controversial rapper confessing to assaulting a woman and stabbing eight people. But apparently there's new music coming, including a collaboration with Rihanna.

In an interview on Power 106's The Cruz Show, producer Mally Mall shared the news. "We actually have nine more songs with X that are coming out. One is going to go to Rihanna," Mall revealed.

The news of Rihanna being involved in an XXXTentacion collaboration is sure to make any of her fans feel uneasy. In 2009, Chris Brown violently abused Rihanna after she called him out on texting another woman he had previously been romantically involved with. The singer has also been very open about not supporting abusive men. Last year, she demanded justice for Cyntoia Brown, a woman who was convicted for shooting a man who held her captive as a sex slave when she was 16.

Given how Rihanna has often used her celebrity status as a way to raise awareness of social issues, the news of her XXXTentacion collaboration feels out of character for her.

The singer has yet to comment on the upcoming collaboration.
