“Paddington” Is A Fun Family Movie [Video]

I took my kids to see HeyDay Films, "Paddington", yesterday afternoon at the Southside Mall Cinemas at the Southside Mall.  It was a cute movie and even though it was rated PG, it suited younger kids.  In comparison, it isn't nearly as intense/dramatic as some other kids movies such as Disney films can be. 

The movie starts in Peru, where we get an understanding of Paddington's background, how he can speak english, and his love of marmalade.  He is easy to love and cheer for.  Now I don't want to give too much away...

He has to find a new home and his Aunt sends him to London to find "The Explorer".  The villain in the movie, played by Nicole Kidman, would like nothing more than to stuff the bear for a museum display.  The Brown family that helps Paddington realize it was he who helped them be a better family.

My kids' review: "It was funny, sad, and funny."
