OWL Nest Opens in Downtown Oneonta, NY This Saturday [Photos]

Oneonta World of Learning (OWL) finally has their own nest!  OWL is conducting an experiment that you and your family can enjoy being a part of.  It has always been OWL's mission to create a permanent children's museum in Oneonta and it looks like a giant leap forward in that direction is about to take place this Saturday, January 18th.   OWL is opening a Winter PlaySpace & Children's Musuem at 277 Main Street in Oneonta as a short term experiment to determine if opening a permanent space for the group would be supported enough in the community to make it a success.

The Winter PlaySpace & Children's Museum will be open Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays starting January 18th and continue through April 2014, at which time, the success of the experiment will be assessed, and OWL will decide whether or not they can move forward by extending the lease on the PlaySpace.  OWL needs to receive enough funding to make this happen.  If you would like more information about OWL, the Winter Playspace & Children's Museum admission, or find out how you can help, CLICK HERE.
