2019 Father’s Day Oneonta Fishing Derby

The Dave Brandt Chapter of Trout Unlimited invites you to grab Dad and come out fishing this Sunday on Father's Day for the annual Free Fishing Day at Hodges Pond in Neahwa Park, Oneonta.  This event from 11am to 3pm is for all ages with free fishing for kids with prizes awarded.  Fishing will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. after which registered attendees will assemble in the pavilion for a fishing education clinic for children presented by Trout Unlimited members.

If kids don't have their own fishing equipment, no worries.  Equipment and fishing worms will be provided along with help baiting the hooks and releasing fish when caught.  The event will end at 3 p.m. but end sooner if lighting occurs.
