Oneonta, NY is becoming known for more than it's arts, culture, railroad history and numerous drinking establishments.  Now, it could become very well known to avid mountain bikers everywhere thanks to a video series on the sport called "From Where We Stand", which highlights great places in the Eastern U.S. to hit the trails.

This video has certainly inspired me to do some trail exploring in Oneonta!

Major kudos to SUNY Oneonta Mountain Biking Club Advisor Al Sosa and especially Sam Brown-Shaklee, SUNY Oneonta graduate and former member of that same club who, along with many volunteers, designed and created a 3 mile biking trail called Blood, Sweat, and Tears for all to enjoy in Oneonta.  It was finished in 2011 and it's awesome!  Make sure you check it out.
