New Site Chosen For Delaware County Department Of Public Works

The Delaware County Board of Supervisors chose a site for its new Department of Public Works shop and operations facility. It will be located on land on Route 10 in Hamden which will be combined with the current DPW site on Page Avenue in Delhi. Supervisors also looked at locating the operations facility on Route 18 north of Delhi. Total construction cost is said to be $27.47 million plus nearly another $7 million for nearby bridge and road construction.
