Mary Jane Prindle Memorial Golf Tournament Set for August 23

The 8th Annual Mary Jane Prindle Memorial Golf Tournament to benefit Hospice of Chenango County will take place Friday August 23 at the Canasawacta Country Club in Norwich. The tournament was founded by Walt Prindle to thank Hospice for the end of life care given to his wife, who died of cancer. Prindle says the format will be captain and crew.

The entry fee remains the same as year's past, $300 per team an includes green fees, carts, prizes and dinner," Prindle said. "

Registration begins at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start at 11 a.m. The tournament is an opportunity for Mary Janes' family and friends to gather to remember her and to raise much needed funds to support the work of Hospice in our community."
