Madonna Queen of Pop is 55 Today [Videos]

The queen of pop music and the queen of reinvention is celebrating her birthday today, August 16, 2013.  Madonna, believe it or not, is 55 years old.  This "Material Girl", born Madonna Louise Ciccone, in 1958 in Bay City Michigan, had her first Billboard hit in 1983 with "Holiday". 

Huge hits like, "Like A Virgin", "Crazy For You", "Papa Don't Preach", and "Take A Bow", to name a very few, have made Madonna a planet wide star for over three decades.  Her talents are limited to singing.  She has starred in a number of movies, too, including "Desperately Seeking Susan", "Dick Tracy", "A League Of Their Own", "Evita" and more.
