Exciting news for fans of The Voice! Season 4 contestant Josiah Hawley is getting ready to release new music, and you can check out the first song, "I Just Want Your Love," right here!

The track is a retro-infused number that exhibits Josiah's soulful background and his incredible vocals. It's exactly the kind of energy we love as summer draws closer. (Confession: The PopCrush team might have been spotted rocking out at our desks to "I Just Want Your Love." Can you blame us?)

We got the details on the new song, straight from Josiah himself!

"I've been working on this new music for the past year," he told PopCrush. "This sound comes from my roots. The recording is all live, all soul. You don't get this sound from a laptop in your bedroom. What you're hearing is a live band comprised of my friends."

Josiah also opened up about the inspiration behind the track, which makes us want to throw caution to the wind in the name of love.

"I Just Want Your Love' is about seeing the one you love and telling them, 'I know you've been burned before, but I'm a different flame.' Let's risk it all, then we'll be standing out (actual lyrics)," he explained.

Love "I Just Want Your Love" as much as we do? We thought so! You can listen to it exclusively on PopCrush before it hits iTunes on April 21. The song will appear on Josiah's upcoming Church EP, coming this summer.
