Help the Old Spin Doctor Find His Hat [POLL, AUDIO]
This morning the Old Spin Doctor and I were chatting about, of all things, hats! Why, you ask? Because I was sporting the classic duck-billed cap you see in the photo above. The Old Spin Doctor has been on the hunt for the perfect cap his whole life. Help him!

The first key to finding a good hat is to know your face. My face is longer and thinner than the Old Spin Doctor's, which means I can wear an equally slender cap, like the one you see above.
The Old Spin Doctor over there has a, as he puts it, more spherical face. If he tried on my cap, it would look funny because his face would be wider than the cap.
So now we have the dilemma, what hat would best suit the Old Spin Doctor?
I suggested a Kangol, which is similar to mine, but wider and flatter, which would accent his face pretty well. I generally see bigger guys wear Kangols quite well.
Or how about the one the Old Spin Doctor wanted -- that crazy Sherlock Holmes hat he could not name. I think he was being facetious. Besides, the Jaxon Houndstooth hat is totally impractical. I mean, look at this thing.
But now we must get back to the real question. What hat -- not ball cap -- would fit our dear Old Spin Doctor? I think a nice fedora would fit him well, too. Can't you just see the Old Spin Doctor trotting down Main Street rocking a killer black fedora? I can.
Seeing that the Old Spin Doctor has a rather wide face -- look at the photo, it's like twice the width of mine -- a wider cap would do him well. But something tells me you won't see the Old Spin Doctor wearing this around these parts:
Of course, I would be remiss if I didn't mention the hat below, that the Old Spin Doctor himself said he has worn. I would love to see him hang out in the studio sporting a classic Charlie Chaplin bowler hat, wouldn't you?
