Today In Music History, Best Guitar Lick Ever [Video]

On this day, May 2, 2004, Total Guitar Magazine revealed their readers favorite guitar licks of all time.  The readers voted Guns and Roses, "Sweet Child of Mine" as their top pick followed by Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit".   In third place was Led Zeppelin's "Whole Lotta Love", then Deep Purple's "Smoke On The Water".  The magazine's editor, Scott Rowley, said, "To a new generation of guitarist's, Guns N' Roses are more thrilling than the Sex Pistols."
