Hall of Fame Announces Death of Don Sutton at 75
The Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum announced that 1998 Cooperstown inductee pitcher Don Sutton died Tuesday after a long battle with cancer. Sutton won 324 games over 23 big league seasons with the Dodgers, Astros, Brewers, Athletics and Angels and is number 3 all-time on games started only topped by Cy Young and Nolan Ryan. He ranked being seventh overall in both strikeouts and innings pitched. Sutton was 75.
