$400,000 from the Avangrid Foundation is going to Project SHARE to help needy residents pay heating bills.  Money for the program is also provided through donations from utility customers who choose to make contributions through their monthly bill.

The assistance is available for customers who have exhausted other assistance programs and are in danger of having their heating sources cut off.
