Governor Cuomo Proposes Enchanced Child Tax Credit

According to Governor Cuomo's office, when Cuomo gives his State Of The State speeches next week, one item he will be promoting is doubling a child care tax credit. The proposal would increase the credit from an average benefit of $169 to $376 and would cost the state $42 million.

In a statement the Governor says this would benefit more than 200,000 families earning between $50,000 and $150,000. Cuomo will give one of his 6 regional speeches in Syracuse next Tuesday at 1pm.
