Senator Oberacker and NYS Farm Bureau Make Statements on Cuomo Resignation

Oberacker states, "it is time to refocus efforts on boosting small businesses, improving the lives of individuals and families, and answering to those who elected lawmakers."
Regarding Oberacker's thoughts on Cuomo being found guilty by Attorney General Lettia James of the sexual harassment charges made against him by several women and the accusations of Cuomo covering up the total number of COVID cases in nursing homes in the state, Oberacker would like to see a continuation of those investigations.
Another statement on Governor Cuomo's resignation was released by the New York State Farm Bureau with Bureau President David Fisher said he's looking forward to working with New York's Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul who will step in as Governor when Cuomo leaves office. Hochul has plans to provide stability to the governor’s office and according to Fisher, Hochul has been "a longtime friend to the state’s farming community and its people."
What does Governor Cuomo have to say? He still maintains his innocence and that his actions were misinterpreted. Below is a video statement that was made yesterday. Watch below...
