Faith Hill had her first crossover hit in 1998 with "This Kiss" from her album titled, "Faith".  The single soared to number one on the country charts and rose into the Top 10 on the U.S. Pop and Adult Contemporary charts.  This was the beginning of her pop star status. 

Faith would go on to release more crossover albums including "Breathe" in 1999, "Cry" in 2002 and "Fireflies" in 2005.  Even though Fireflies was a return to her country music roots, on this day, August 14, 2005, it would become her third album to debut at number one on both the country and pop charts.  From her "Fireflies" album, here is "Mississppi Girl":
