Chobani executives and Town of Columbus officials were on hand Saturday morning to unveil $65,000 in restorations to Norton Park.

The renovations were made possible by the Shepard’s Gift Foundation, the charitable arm of Chobani.

Updates to the park included landscaping, trail restoration and renovations to buildings that will serve as a location for local events and entertainment. The project was part of an ongoing community effort.

Last fall Chobani donated a historic train depot to Norton Park.
