Chobani Announces Store Opening in New York City

Chobani Yogurt, headquartered in New Berlin, announced via its online blog Tuesday that it will open a store in the SoHo neighborhood of New York City.

It is the first store for Chobani, which has only distributed its product through grocery and other businesses.

Keeping with New York City’s reputation as the nation’s culinary capitol, pushing ordinary food to its limits, the Chobani store is slated to be a Mediterranean yogurt bar.

Customers will enjoy menu items such as Chobani topped with toasted coconut and fresh pineapple, hazlenuts and agave. Another item Chobani boasts is the yogurt topped with Turkish pistachios, dark chocolate chunks, honey, orange and mint.
