Check Out Mariah Carey’s Upstate NY COVID-19 Mansion
Have you ever thought of what rich people did to survive COVID-19? Where did they quarantine, did they have to move, or stay in the city? Just exactly how are they getting through the pandemic? I found out how one big-name celebrity is surviving through COVID19, Mariah Carey! She is actually pretty close to the Capital Region.
According to Daily Mail, Mariah Carey moved out of her New York residence, with her two children and her five-member team, to a gorgeous estate in Westchester.
The mansion was put on and taken off the market several times since 2015, and it is currently on the market. It is listed at $8.5 million by Brian Milton from Compass.
The listing says, “Ultimate elegance combined with cutting edge home automation defines this rare opportunity in the exclusive gated Penwood enclave in Bedford New York. Extraordinary architectural details emanate warmth and style from the luxurious floor plan offering formal spaces, intimate gathering places, and a main floor grand master suite with an elegant master bath.”
The listing goes on to explain the upper level. There is a deck with an outdoor fireplace, three-bedroom suites, a theater, and a professional-grade gym. There are two additional bedroom suites on the first floor.
One of the main features of the 5-acre resort is an award-winning 500 gallon, 90-foot violin-shaped pool with flanking pods.
The house is owned by a former Wall Street executive, and Carey is renting it for an undisclosed amount of money.
Although this was a change of pace for Mariah Carey and her family, imagine making a sacrifice and moving your family to such an elegant estate. No wonder so many rich people are able to survive this awful pandemic, they have such beautiful places to quarantine!
