2nd Annual Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot To Benefit Hospice
Get the family together and start a new Thanksgiving tradition. Catskill Area Hospice and Palliative Care is hosting the second annual Thanksgiving Day 5K Turkey Trot, November 27, 2014. A great way to keep fit during the holidays. Best part is, that proceeds will help fund Hospice’s “Perfect Gift” program which provides unique and lasting experiences for Hospice families.
What other runs include homemade pies awarded to placing runners? The kick off of the race will include a balloon release in memory of lost loved ones. (With biodegradable balloons and string, of course.) Thanksgiving morning head to the Oneonta Boys and Girls Club, at 70 River Street, Oneonta, New York. Registration is at 7:30am, 5K run and 2.5K walk start and 9am followed by an awards ceremony. Race day registration begins at 7:30am.
