This Saturday Hospice of Chenango County will hold the second in a series of caregivers school to help make caring for an ill, loved one easier. Kendall Drexler, Clinical Outreach Coordinator at Hospice of Chenango County says the school is a support group for caregivers of chronically ill people living in the area.

"This support group is open and free of charge for anyone in Chenango County that is caring for a loved one with a chronic illness," Drexler said. "There is no other prior affiliation with Hospice needed. This Saturday's topic will be medication management so we will teach caregivers about storing, disposing, managing meds as well as figuring out how meds are working for them and encouraging them to talk to their doctor about different med regimens."

Cargiver school is this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Hospice offices, 21 Hayes Street in Norwich. For more information call Hospice at 334-3556.
