A key receiver for the New York Jets heads south to join the Carolina Panthers.  Robby Anderson opts to sign as a free agent with Carolina after four solid seasons as a key offensive threat for the Jets.  He reunites with his former coach at Temple University...Matt Rhule, who was named the new head coach at Carolina in January,  pursued Anderson who is a deep threat and will team with newly acquired quarterback Teddy Bridgewater for the Panthers.

In four seasons with the Jets Anderson had 207 catches for 3,059 yards and 20 touchdowns.  Anderson reportedly signed a two-year deal worth $20 million.  Anderson was signed by the Jets as a free agent out of Temple University in 2016.
